I bought a container of 8 giant paper clips.

And this is what I decided to do with those clips.  Fun, huh?

'Tis the Season Challenge #24- A Color Challenge

I typically have a hard time with color challenges for Christmas cards that combine non-traditional Christmas colors.  This one came together quickly for me.

I used a star theme and I am really happy with how it turned out!

Play along!  Head over to 'Tis the Season and play along.  You know you want to...

'Tis the Season, Challenge 23

I created this card for the photo challenge on 'Tis the Season.

I am going to be honest.  I totally cased this card.  But look how beautiful it is!  Thank you to Pinterest and all the creative, talented people out there who share their ideas with us!  Thanks for this card!

It's been pinned on my board FOREVER.  But when I saw this picture, I knew exactly what I was going to do.
I love the messiness of this card, the spots, the sponging, the uneven banners, the random pearl placement.... I love it.

Why don't you head over to 'Tis the Season and play along with us?
Come on.... you know you want to play!  See what you come up with.  Let this photo inspire you!

Rainbow Cards

I had fun creating these rainbow cards!

Everyone always asks when they see my work how long it takes me to create a card.  Card makers know that is an impossible question to answer.  I've had one card take me hours to make (not something I generally take on by choice), and I've made a card that takes mere minutes.  I had a friend time me on this one (which I, of course, totally CASED).

It took 20 minutes to make these two cards from start to finish, including finding materials, adding the bling, stamping the sentiment and the back.  Not too shabby.  TOTALLY cute...

You can almost taste the rainbow (I'm doing it for the fans!)

September Flowers.... First Card Class in September, 9/5

These are the 8 flower cards that we'll be making during my next class.

Each card has one or more beautiful flowers using some of Stampin' Up's most popular floral sets, which includes some new sets!  So fun!

You will love these!  As always, you can customize your sentiments to create the cards you need, or you can create a variety pack to give as an awesome gift (or two!)

If you'd like the purchase the set, you can do that, too!  Just let me know.

Here are some close-ups of a few of the cards.

The class will be offered on Friday, September 5th at 4:00.  You'll make all 8 cards for $20.00

The price to purchase a set made by me is $30.00.

Check your calendar now!  Let me know if you'd like to join us so that I can have all the materials prepared for you.  Please RSVP by Sunday, August 31st.

I hope to create with you soon!

R2D2 Punch card

I am loving this card!  I copied it, of course, but I just had a picture of the card, no directions.  So I did have to work for it a bit.

I am so proud of this!  I knew when I saw it that I had to make it for a friend of mine.

Thanks to all of those of you out there who share your ideas so freely.

I did heat emboss the sentiment in black, but you really can't tell in this picture.

'Tis the Season, Challenge 22, A Sketch Challenge

This is my take on this week's sketch challenge.

I've used retired paper and stamp set (Peaceful Wishes).

I loved the look of the curved sentiment panel.  I used lightly marked with a pencil the curve of the white circle then used the circle punch itself to curve it perfectly.  Then, I popped the circle itself up.

I love this look!

Head on over to 'Tis the Season and play along!
